Looking for a Customer Service Trainee job in Yate? Look no further!

Working in a small team you will be dealing with:

  • Answering incoming calls and taking orders by telephone
  • Processing orders using an online system and processing card payments online and occasionally with card holder present
  • Meet and welcome visitors and customers
  • Answering emails with customer enquiries
  • Deal with customer complaints
  • Assist with customer service social media communication
  • Carry out administrative work accurately and quickly including creating documents and spreadsheets
  • Assist with procuring products and/or services
  • Maintain customer database using ACT (CRM) system
  • Making outbound calls to keep in touch with customer database and to keep records up to date
  • Develop customer relationships

This varied and interesting position will involve speaking to individual customers and also to clients from many different countries. This position could be a customer services or business administration apprenticeship.

Requirements for the position

Education - ideally to 'A' level standard but with a minimum GCSE grade A-C in English and Maths

Experience - previous customer service experience

Skills - excellent communication skills, very confident telephone manner, excellent computer skills, good written skills - able to write business letters / emails,

Attributes - must be able to work quickly and accurately under pressure, able to multi-task and organise own work, excellent attention to detail, should be a reliable and conscientious team member.

Hours 8 am to 4.30 pm Monday to Friday with a 30-minute unpaid break each day.

Salary dependent on experience.
