Trainee Customer Services Administrator / business administration apprentice - Yate


Our client in Yate has a vacancy for a trainee Customer Services Administrator.


Working in a small team this position includes the following duties:


  • Answering incoming calls and taking orders by telephone
  • Processing orders using an online system and processing card payments
  • Answering emails with enquiries
  • Carry out administrative work accurately and quickly
  • Provide written quotations as required by the General Manager
  • Maintain customer database using ACT (CRM) system
  • Making outbound calls to keep in touch with customer database and to keep records up to date


This varied and interesting position will involve speaking to individual customers and also to clients from many different countries.


Requirements for the position


Education – ideally to ‘A’ level standard and languages would be useful


Experience – previous customer service experience


Skills – excellent communication skills, confident telephone manner, excellent computer skills, good written skills - able to write business letters / emails,


Attributes – must be able to work quickly and accurately under pressure, able to multi-task and organise own work, excellent attention to detail, should be a reliable and conscientious team member.


Training will be provided in administrative tasks and office procedures. This position could be a Business Administration apprenticeship if this is something the successful candidate is interested in.
